The Mountain Goats, banda de Durham, North Carolina, liderada pelo cantautor John Darnielle, lançou seu mais recente álbum, o décimo-segundo de sua carreira, The Life Of The World To Come, via 4AD, neste 5 de outubro passado. A formação atual do trio conta com, além de Darnielle na guitarra e na voz, Peter Hughes no baixo e Jon Wurster na bateria. O primeiro single do novo disco é "Genesis 3:23".
