Japandroids, duo formado em Vancouver, Canadá, por Brian King (guitar, vocal) e David Prowse (drums, vocal), com um som transita entre o garage rock e o noise pop. A dupla lançou em 2009, seu álbum de estréia, Post-Nothing, e agora está lançando No Singles (capa acima), também via Polyvinyl Records. Este novo disco, No Singles, compila os dois primeiros EPs da dupla, All Lies, de 2007 e Lullaby Death Jams, de 2008. A primeira faixa liberada é “Darkness on the Edge of Gastown”, deveras boa.

Post-Nothing, Japandroids’ critically acclaimed debut full-length, set a course for the band that landed them on over 30 year-end lists -- including Pitchfork, Spin, Stereogum, NME and many more.

Prior to Post-Nothing’s release, Japandroids released two 5-song EPs (All Lies and Lullaby Death Jams) on CD-R. The EPs were limited to 500 copies and quickly fell out of print.

No Singles compiles these two EPs into one album. Meticulous packaging designed by the band includes a 32-page booklet detailing Japandroids’ early history, including rare photos and show fliers.
