War Child presents... Heroes

War Child, ONG que trabalha em benefício de crianças vítimas de guerras mundo afora, já lançou algumas coletâneas memoráveis e esta agora é mais que especial...

War Child: Heroes é o nome desta nova compilação que reúne um time de primeira interpretando canções de verdadeiras lendas vivas do rock.

Tão bacana quanto a própria iniciativa em si é a forma como a coletãnea foi gerada.

A ONG pediu a crianças como Bob Dylan, U2, Elvis Costello e David Bowie, só para citar alguns, que escolhessem entre suas músicas qual melhor representaria o tema da coletânea e que também escolhessem a banda que iria interpretá-la.

David Bowie pediu ao TV On The Radio que gravasse “Heroes”, Dylan pediu a Beck sua versão para “Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat” e Bono chamou o Elbow para executar “Running To Stand Still”.
