South San Gabriel é uma banda de indie rock baseada em Denton, Texas, formado pelos quatro membros do Centro-matic com a inclusão de convidados, porém centra-se num clima introspectivo. O líder Will Johnson, tem alternado entre os dois projetos, ao mesmo tempo que também lança álbuns solo.
