Poptones é a nova gravadora independente de Alan McGee, o homem por da Creation Records, gravadora independente que fez o mundo conhecer bandas como Jesus & Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Teenage Fanclub, House of Love, Oasis, etc. Bem a Creation foi vendida a uma major e hoje já nem existe mais.
