hi
in the past couple of weeks i've been getting a band together for fun to play the eraser stuff live and the new songs etc.. to see if it could work!
here's a photo.. its me, joey waronker, mauro refosco, flea and nigel godrich.
at the beginning of october the 4th and 5th we are going to do a couple of shows at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
we don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well ...we haven't got that much material yet!
but come and check it out if you are in the area. we've also got locals Lucky Dragons playing.

Dear Sir or Madam
This is to inform you of the release of two more bits of work shortly.
They are loosely under the Thom Yorke name this time, although these days its all getting kind of blurry.
FeelingPulledApartbyHorses is written & played by Jonny and I and is a radical rework of an old tune thats been kicking around without a home since 2001? i think.
The Hollow Earth is a bass menace that was born out of the Eraser period but needed a little more time.
Both were produced by Nigel Godrich as ever. And mastered by Bob Ludwig.
They are being put out on 12" with sliced sleeve by Stanley and Tchock.
My sources tell me this will be available from the 21st of September if you're interested.. On sale in the w.a.s.t.e part of our website (with a gratis download.)
Or you can go buy it in a good record shop if you are lucky enough to have one near you.
Then later on there will be like a normal download thing i think around the 6th of Oct through the usual channels.

O Radiohead em suas recentes turnês, vem tocando algumas covers do bardo canadense Neil Young. Em 25 de agosto último, no Hollywood Bowl, em Los Angeles, Thom Yorke e Jonny Greenwood tocaram acusticamente “Tell Me Why”, do clássico álbum de 1970, After the Gold Rush. Em anos anteriopres, eles coverizaram outras canções de Neil como “On the Beach”, “Cinammon Girl” e Thom tocou ao piano “After the Gold Rush” no Bridge School Benefit, entidade encabeçada por Young.
Thom Yorke deu entrevista no programa de Jonathan Ross na BBC Radio 2 no dia 26 de janeiro/2008, falando sobre In Rainbows e revelando que este foi baixado no Reino Unido (UK) à um valor médio de 4 libras. Thom também falou sobre a trilha que Jonny Greenwood fez para o filme ‘There Will Be Blood’ (‘Sangue Negro’) e a manobra que deixou este de fora da indicação para o Oscar de melhor trilha sonora, falou também a respeito de seus filhos serem fãs de Red Hot Chilli Peppers, entre outros assuntos. Entremeando o bate-papo, Thom cantou duas canções, ‘Reckoner’ com violão e ‘Everything In Its Right Place’ com teclado. 
Thom Yorke apresentou-se por duas noites seguidas, 26 e 27 de outubro de 2002, na Bridge School Benefit, escola beneficiente de música fundada por Neil Young. Nas duas apresentações, Thom acompanhou-se basicamente de piano numa noite e guitarra acústica (violão) noutra. E só me vem uma palavras para descrevê-las: SUBLIME!

Satoshi Tomiie é DJ japonês respeitadíssimo mundo afora. Aqui, ele faz um excelente trabalho com um remix para "The Erasure" do álbum de mesmo nome do Thom Yorke.
Thom Yorke toca duas novas canções neste "From The Basement", "VideoTape" é tocada no episódio de Nigel Godrich, produtor de Ok Computer. A segunda, "Down is The New Up" é tocada numa versão pra lá de delicada.Thom Yorke lança remixes de "The Eraser" apenas na Internet
Remixes de duas canções do álbum "The Eraser", estréia solo de Thom Yorke, vocalista do Radiohead, podem ser ouvidos e baixados na Internet. As faixas diponíveis no site The Eraser são "Analyse", remixada pelo grupo Various, e "The Clock", em versão do DJ e produtor inglês Surgeon. Em um texto publicado no blog do Radiohead, Yorke diz que os remixes aparecerão aos poucos na página do álbum e depois desaparecerão. Não há informações quanto a um possível lançamento oficial das versões em CD. Sobre o remix do Surgeon para "The Clock", o cantor diz ter ficado "muito orgulhoso" com o resultado. "Espero que (o remix) seja tocado em algum clube. Não que eu saia muito hoje em dia", escreveu Thom Yorke.

Thom Yorke mostra músicas novas do Radiohead em programa de TV que pode ser baixado na Internet
O vocalista do Radiohead, Thom Yorke, apresentará duas faixas inéditas da banda em um novo programa de TV britânico. "From the Basement" estréia no próximo dia 18 e traz também apresentações do White Stripes e de Kieran Hebden, do Four Tet, com o baterista Steve Reid. Os programas poderão ser baixados no site oficial da atração e pelo iTunes. No site do "From The Basement", cada "faixa" custa £ 1.89 (R$ 8) e o programa completo sai por £ 9.48 (R$ 40), cuja prévia por ser assistida de graça no site."Videotape" e "Down Is The New Up" são as duas composições inéditas que Yorke toca ao piano no programa. "From the Basement" não tem platéia, e os artistas ficam no centro do palco e são filmados de diferentes ângulos. O clima chega a ser claustrofóbico, como num porão, em referência ao nome do programa. As próximas atrações do programa serão Beck e Jamie Lidell. O Radiohead já vem apresentando essas e outras músicas inéditas em shows recentes. Esse material está disponível, em condições precárias, no Youtube, com vídeos gravados por fãs. "From the Basement" foi idealizado por Nigel Godrich, produtor do disco "OK Computer", de 1997, do Radiohead. Ele iniciou seus trabalhos com o grupo a partir do segundo álbum da banda, "The Bends", de 1995, como engenheiro de som. Graças a "OK Computer", Godrich ganhou prestígio no meio musical, e, desde então, trabalhou com nomes como R.E.M, Travis, Beck, Pavement e no disco solo do Thom Yorke, "The Eraser", de 2006.
